The 2017 set of local government councilors in Kwara State have felicitated with Dr Mohammed Ghali Alaaya on his appointment as a non – executive director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).
The former councilors in a statement signed by their coordinator, Hon. Sikirullahi AbdulKareem Oladimeji expressed delight over the appointment of Ghali into NNPCL’s board by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
They described Ghali’s appointment as a reward for loyalty and commitment to the success of the administration of Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The ex- lawmakers thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for recognising and rewarding loyalty through the university’s don appointment, which they described as well deserved.
The statement partly reads:” Dr. Mohammed is a renowned politician, teacher and mentor to the new generation and we could not but glorify the Almighty Allah for this appointment while appreciating His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for rewarding loyalty and competence with kindness.
“A caring leader that has brought smiles to the faces of Kwarans and everyone who contributed to the struggles of Kwara emancipation. A leader who has always believed in youths, as evident in youth inclusion in his cabinet. This has spurred us all to greatness as we believe in His Excellency’s style of leadership as he continues to show his readiness to ensure everyone is duly rewarded.
“It is our prayer that Allah in His infinite mercy will be the strength and guide of Dr Ghali Mohammed as he takes up this new path. Dr Mohammed has made us all proud on different fronts and we believe that he will brings all those sterling qualities to bear in his new assignment.
