The Executive Management of the Ladi Hassan 2027 Guber Project held its first meeting in Ilorin on Saturday with speakers at the meeting urging all hands on deck to sell and promote the candidacy of the guber aspirant , Alhaji Ladi Hassan.
Members of the executive management committee took turns to declare endorsement and share positive testimonials about the guber aspirant during the meeting.
They also asserted that he is uniquely qualified and should be supported to emerge as PDP gubernatorial candidate in 2027 given his vast experience in governance, the network of friends he has cultivated in the state political circle and beyond, good interpersonal skills and accessibility’.
‘Kwara State at this point does not need someone who will be talking about experimentation but rather a person who has gotten exposure to governance at the federal and state levels .
We need someone who can seamlessly manage human and material resources. We need someone who will be accessible and who is a homegrown person.
Alhaji Ladi Hassan is known by everyone, he has served as SA, Chief of Staff, Government House, Ilorin, Commissioner, Board Chairman at the state and federal levels, he knows how to manage human and material resources, that is the kind of person we need’ , the Director of Youth, Mr Dikko said.

Giving his speech, Director General of the Ladi Hassan 2027 Project, Hon Razaq Ibrahim urged all members of the team to show dedication to selling Alhaji Ladi Hassan’s candidacy to Kwarans noting that doing this will be in the best interest of the state .
He also urged the local government coordinators to ensure that they have excellent relationship with stakeholders in the party in their respective local governments.
Local government coordinators at the meeting promised to ‘market’ Alhaji Ladi Hassan’s candidacy in their respective local governments noting that a true party man is needed to be in the driver’s seat this time around.
They added that there has never been a more important time for everyone in the state to come together and put the interest of Kwara over other interests by working to ensure the emergence of Alhaji Ladi Hassan as PDP guber candidate and his eventual emergence as winner of the 2027 guber election.
The guber aspirant, Alhaji Ladi Hassan thanked members of the executive management for showing love to him, remaining loyal to the party and for making themselves available as ‘valued’ partners in this journey.
He urged them to continue to show loyalty and promote unity in the party noting that competition for party nomination is somewhat a ‘sibling rivalry’.
He however cautioned against deceit or dual loyalty noting that getting the political aspiration achieved requires action from all of us.
Alhaji Hassan also promised not to disappoint the party and Kwarans if elected as governor of Kwara State in 2027 noting that he has gotten the necessary exposure to change things for the better in the state.
He also added that the gubernatorial project requires a collective action to nurture and make it become a reality.
