Gov. AbdulRazaq, Friends Donates N50m to IEDPU For Construction of ICT/Skill Acquisition Centres

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq was on 25th of December, 2020 donated N50 million in his name and friends to Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) for the construction of ICT/Skill Acquisition Hub.

Governor AbdulRazaq who graced the 55th Annual National Conference of the Union held at the Emir’s palace, Oja-Oba, Ilorin, said N25 million was  from his own personal pocket and another N25 million was from his friends like; Abdul Samad who is a Cheif Executive Office of Bua group of Companies and Aliko Dangote of Dangote group of Companies.

The money is to support the Ilorin Emirate Descendant Progressive Union (IEDPU) in achieving their dream of having  Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Skill acquisition Hub in the state as a way of empowering the teeming youths and elders in the Emirate Communities and State as a whole.

We could recall that Governor AbdulRazaq made similar donation of N20 million for the Union last year in which the union acknowledged the receipt. Although that particular donation was for another purpose from this proposed project ICT/Skill acquisition centre.
