The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Smart Adeyemi has said that there is no justification for AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq not to run for second term in office considering his achievements and transformation agenda in the last three and half years.

Speaking during a courtesy visit on the Governor, he said with AbdulRazaq’s unprecedented achievements, he deserves to consolidate on the gains of his administration.

“A man who has concentrated on infrastructural facilities, good road network, school construction and rehabilitation, healthcare delivery, human capital development, social investment among others, deserves to be given another chance.

“I must say that there is no justification for you not to run for second term. So, Your Excellency my coming here is to talk our people because I’m proud to be here and I’m proud with what I have seen. And if I’m not convinced about your leadership, I have no reason to come here.

“If I’m not convinced about our Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I will tell Nigerians that I’m not supporting him. I look at all the Presidential candidates and I don’t see any of them matching Tinubu as a visionary leader and detribalised Nigerian,” Adeyemi during the courtesy visit on the Governor.

“My coming here is a home coming and I’m happy to be here with my team to come and have interaction with our people. Before coming to Ilorin today, in the last three weeks, I have been talking to various associations and community development groups of Kogi State in Kwara and I discovered to my dismay that over 60,000 Kogi indigenes are residing in Kwara”.
